St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church is a vibrant community built upon our fellowship in God. We are committed to teaching and engaging our youth in faith and culture, as well as performing good works in the surrounding areas where we worship and beyond.
St. John's was the first Christian Orthodox community established in Suffolk County in 1940. Through the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the dedication of countless people, St. John's has grown from a small group of 40 families to several hundred. With love, humility, and hard work, we continue the efforts of our forefathers to spread the Good News and expand our faith, our church, and our community.
